Marco is the Knowledge Management and Communications lead at the World Bank's Development Impact Department (DIME). His work focuses on translating data and research findings into actionable insights for policy makers and development practitioners.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Marco held various data-related roles in a range of international organisations (OECD, UNODC, UNICEF, UNFPA, IOM, UNRWA), consulting firms, start-ups and in academia. Before moving to the United States, Marco worked in Canada, France, Senegal, DRCongo and Panama. He also consulted remotely on projects based across Latin America, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region.
Marco is a dual-citizen of France and Nigeria and holds a B.A. in Economics from McGill University (Canada), as well as an M.Sc. in Data Science from the Barcelona School of Economics (Spain).
