Kifaye Didem Bayar is an Economist with the Debt Data Team at the World Bank’s Development Data Group. Specializing in fiscal data analysis with over 10 years of experience, she collaborates with institutions globally to compile and analyze debt data for key publications, such as the International Debt Statistics (IDS). Her work focuses on providing insights into the external debt positions of reporting countries, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of global economic trends.
Before joining the Bank, Kifaye worked in the Turkish Treasury in the Public Finance Department. She holds a master's degree in Public Policy from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Middle East Technical University (Turkey).
