Kanat Kaiyrberli is a Senior Financial Officer in the Financial Products and Client Solutions (CMIFP) team of the World Bank Treasury. He has 19 years of experience in public and private sectors and international organizations, with extensive expertise in the financial industry, as well as development finance operations. During his professional career Kanat held various positions in the public sector, including the Government of Kazakhstan and the Central Bank; since 2009, Kanat has continued his career in the financial sector, including financial asset management, investment banking, and corporate finance. In 2017, Kanat joined the World Bank Team in Kazakhstan and mainly focused on portfolio management and operations.
Kanat holds degrees in International Economics, an MBA from Brandeis University (MA, USA), and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School (MA, USA).
