Francisco Arroyo Marioli is an Economist with the World Bank's Prospects Group. He works on commodities, macroeconomics, and forecasting issues. He also has contributed to the COVID-19 statistics literature. He contributes to the biannual Commodity Markets Outlook and Global Economic Prospects reports, as well as other related projects. Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked at the Central Bank of Chile. He holds degrees in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina (BS), Torcuato Ditella University, Argentina (MS), and UCLA, U.S. (PhD).
