Fatouma Toure Ibrahima is the Practice Manager of the PPP Group for the World Bank's Infrastructure Finance, PPPs and Guarantees (IPG) Department. She was previously Operations Adviser of the Infrastructure and Urban Development Hub in Singapore.
Since joining the World Bank in 1998, Fatouma has worked in several sectors, including in the finance and energy sectors. She served as Senior Financial Sector Specialist and Task Team Leader in the Africa region, where she led the design and implementation of various country and regional infrastructure projects. Fatouma was also the Regional Representative for the Public Private Partnership Infrastructure Facility (PPIAF).
As a Financial Sector Specialist in the Middle East and North Africa Region, she managed financial sector and financial system infrastructure projects and contributed to the Financial Sector Assessment Program. Fatouma also served as Special Assistant in the offices of the Vice President and Corporate Secretariat and the World Bank Group Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer. A national of Mali, Fatouma holds an MBA from the University of Quebec in Montreal.
