Arnab Bandyopadhyay works as the Lead Transport Specialist with the Transport Global Practice in the South Asia region of the World Bank and is based in New Delhi office. Arnab has active interest and expertise in diverse areas of transportation including highways and rural roads, maritime and water transport, multimodal transport and logistics and regional trade and transport facilitation. He has several publications on Institutional benchmarking of transport sector agencies, construction industry development, innovative construction technology and materials, Road Safety and water transport to his credit and a regular speaker in national and international forums. A Civil Engineer by education with a specialization in Construction Management, Arnab has worked with consulting firms in a wide-ranging transport infrastructure design and construction projects in South Asia, East Asia and East Africa before joining the Bank in 2001.
