Erwin De Nys

Erwin De Nys is a Practice Manager of the World Bank’s Climate Finance Mobilization Unit, which mobilizes climate finance through trust funds that deliver innovative, scalable climate and environmental action.

Since joining the Bank in 2005, he has been involved in several investment projects and studies at the juncture of water resources management, agriculture and rural development, and climate change adaption in the South-Asia and the Latin America and Caribbean regions. He earned a PhD in Bioscience Engineering from KU Leuven University, and two master degrees in Water Resources Management (Institut des Régions Chaudes, Montpellier) and in Tropical Agricultural Development (KU Leuven University).
