Erik von Uexkull is the World Bank's Country Representative and Senior Economist for Mauritius and Seychelles, with residence in Mauritius. His previous positions at the World Bank include Senior Economist with the Investment Policy and Promotion team and Country Economist for Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
Erik also worked for the International Labour Organization and the International Monetary Fund on topics related to trade, employment, and development, and as a lecturer on Development Policy at Dresden University of Technology. He holds an MA from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
