Arnaud Buissé is the Executive Director representing France for the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund since January 2020. Prior to joining the WBG Board, Mr. Buissé held senior positions in the French Treasury (2009-2020), including Assistant Secretary for the Public Policy Department, Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Multilateral Financial Affairs and Development Division, and Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Diagnostic and Forecasts Division. He was Adviser to the Minister for the Budget, Public Accounts and Civil Services (2007-2009) and worked as Fiscal Economist in the Fiscal Affairs Department in the IMF (2005-2007).
Mr Buissé holds a Master in Macroeconomics from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), Paris and also graduated from the École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Économique (ENSAE), Parisalso.
