Anne Beck is an Economist on the Trade and International Integration team of the World Bank's Development Research Group. Her research focuses on the topics of trade, climate, and finance. Her current work explores firm-level data and policy databases to study climate and trade policies and their effects on global value chains and local labor markets. Recent projects include an analysis of firm networks in global agricultural value chains, the employment and political effects of tariff changes, and opportunities and challenges of a circular economy transition.
