Alberto Pellicano is an Italian national who joined the Regulatory Efficiency team in 2018. He previously worked at the Italian Representation to NATO and at the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris. He completed his legal traineeship at several Italian law firms and passed the Italian bar exam in 2020. At the World Bank, he has collaborated with multiple units—including the External and Corporate Affairs office in Rome and the Social Protection team—on projects focused on energy, public administration innovation, social policy reform, and inclusiveness. Pellicano holds an integrated LLM with a concentration in public international law from Bocconi University in Milan, and an LLM in transnational arbitration and dispute settlement from Sciences Po Paris. He is fluent in French and Spanish, in addition to his native Italian.
