Akiko Sagesaka is a Statistician for the Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS), the World Bank’s flagship household survey program housed at the Development Data Group. In partnership with the International Household Survey Network (IHSN), she works to improve the quality and relevance of data collected through household surveys. Her research interests include poverty, gender, labor and household consumption.
Akiko holds a master’s degree in International Development Studies from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Tokyo, Japan.
