The 2023 Spring Meetings marked a significant milestone as they were the first to be held entirely in-person since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Весенняя сессия 2023 года стала первой, которая была проведена полностью в очном формате с начала пандемии COVID-19. Такой формат предоставил российской делегации прекрасную возможность провести ряд плодотворных двусторонних встреч с делегациями других стран.
Наиболее значимым событием, которое состоялось в ходе встреч, стало Пленарное заседание Комитета по развитию 12 апреля, на котором мировые лидеры обсудили насущные вопросы, связанные с развитием. На следующий день состоялся ужин Комитета по развитию.
Исполнительный директор по России и Сирии Роман Маршавин представлял обе страны как на пленарном заседании Комитета по развитию, так и на ужине. На полях этих мероприятий г-н Маршавин провел продуктивные беседы с представителями других стран.
