WBG GLOBAL RECOGNITION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

The World Bank Group (WBG) seeks a qualified service provider to manage its employee recognition program.  Firms must meet the following mandatory criteria, as a minimum, to participate to this RFP.

BACKGROUND AND BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK

The World Bank Group recognizes staff for continuous years of service at intervals of 10, 20 and 30 years of service.  This is a long-standing recognition program at the WBG, and one that is highly valued by staff.  The World Bank Group staff represent a highly educated, and culturally and nationally diverse population.  The headquarters office is located in Washington, DC.  However, a large percentage of staff are located in more than 180 country offices worldwide.  Below are the estimated numbers of staff (both at HQ and country offices) who will reach 10, 20, and 30 years of service in FY 19, FY 20 and FY 21. The fiscal year starts on July 1 and ends on June 30.

MANDATORY CRITERIA

1.     Offeror must have been in business for at least five (5) years providing services similar to those specified herein. 

2.     Offeror must have a web based system/application which enable the World Bank staff members to select a gift item and place an order from the catalogue.  The system/application, including the catalogue, must be managed by the offeror.

3.     Offeror must ensure presence of adequate information security controls required to maintain confidentiality of the World Bank Group information.

Offeror must have the financial capability to successfully complete the Contract and a minimum of USD 10 million revenue per annum, which is substantiated by a complete set of financial statements (e.g. annual report, audited (if available) financial statements or tax filings
