OBJECTIVE: To develop a comprehensive Offshore Wind Roadmap for the Chilean Ministry of Energy (CME); outlining how offshore wind (OSW) could fit into the country’s long-term energy strategy; and approaches to overcome the initial barriers to development. The analysis should cover key aspects; including technology; infrastructure; public policies; regulations; environmental considerations; economic factors; and market conditions necessary for offshore wind deployment in Chile.
