The World Bank is seeking to hire a Consultant Firm to undertake the preparation of a detailed and advanced business case and model transaction documents for the (i) Ilala Municipal market PPP project within the wider Dar es Salaam area and (ii) Uyole Bus Terminal PPP Project in Mbeya City; respectively; as better described in the detailed scope of work sections and in the attached Terms of Reference. The primary aim of the Consultancy Service is to develop a well-structured bankable PPP project business case for both projects; which are urban PPPs; aimed at advancing Tanzania's public infrastructure services across the country's urban spaces. The successful implementation of these projects will serve as illustrators for replication across urban areas in Tanzania. The projects are intended to be implemented through the PPP methodology; details of which are set out in the ToRs. For both projects; prefeasibility studies have been prepared; and the selected firm will have access to these studies as baseline project due diligence documents from which to build up the detailed business cases.
