tO LEVERAGE THE pHILIPPINE CAPITAL MARKET FOR CLIMATE PROJECT FUNDING AND SUPPORT THE COUNTRY'S ndc; IT IS CRUCIAL TO DEVELOP THEMATIC FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS AND PROMOTE THEIR APPLICATION. sPECIFICALLY; THERE IS A NEED TO DEVELOP A CONTEXTUALIZED GUIDE FOR PUBLIC AND PRIVATE STAKEHOLDERS TO RAISE AWARENESS; DEEPEN KNOWLEDGE; AND OFFER GUIDANCE ON SUSTAINABLE CAPITAL MARKETS INSTRUMENTS.tHE sUSTAINABLE cAPITAL mARKETS iNSTRUMENTS hANDBOOK FOR THE pHILIPPINES WILL ACT AS A GUIDE FOR ISSUERS; INVESTORS; AND INTERMEDIARIES OF SUSTAINABLE FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS. iT WILL SERVE AS A TOOLKIT AND REFERENCE GUIDE TO HELP STAKEHOLDERS FAMILIARIZE WITH THE FUNDAMENTALS OF SUSTAINABLE FINANCE INSTRUMENT; THE BEST PRACTICES IN THE SUSTAINABLE FINANCE CAPITAL MARKETS; AND THE APPLICABLE GUIDELINES ON ISSUANCE AND INVESTMENT ON THESE INSTRUMENTS.
