The International Finance Corporation (IFC); the private sector arm of the World Bank Group; seeks a qualified firm to conduct a comprehensive portfolio analysis for farmer aggregators in Tunisia. This analysis aims to quantify the impact of climate events and other agricultural production risks; identify gaps that could be addressed by insurance; and generate probabilistic metrics to support decision-making. The firm will also provide insights to facilitate the design of prototype agri-insurance products and the planning of a pilot project. The assignment will be conducted in two phases. Each phase will involve the delivery of the activities outlined in the scope of work; with respect to the portfolio of one particular aggregator (implying that IFC expects the firm to analyze the portfolio of up to two aggregators). The firm must demonstrate experience in developing probabilistic models for financial products; particularly in emerging markets; and possess strong analytical; modeling; and report-writing skills.
