The proposed assignment is to provide strategic technical support to the NCDC in strengthening its stewardship role for building field epidemiology capacities within India. The overarching objective of this assignment is to provide strategic and technical advice to NCDC to strengthen and refine the advanced Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) in India including development and rolling out a high-quality progressive program for intermediate FETP candidates to address supply side barriers. It is proposed to engage an agency with strong understanding of evolving global best practices in FETP scaleup and strong technical expertise in field epidemiology core competencies including the organization and dynamics of innovative approaches in capacity building.
