Digitally-enabled care enterprises (DECEs) have emerged in recent years to facilitate the exchange of information and connect care seekers with care providers. IFC is seeking to procure a firm to conduct a research study to explore the potential for DECEs to expand employer-supported childcare; as well as elderly care and other care services in emerging markets. This includes a DECEs ecosystem mapping; an analysis of the degree to which DECEs can enable employer-supported childcare solutions; an assessment of the growth potential and financial and non-financial needs of DECEs with a focus on those servicing employers; assessment of potential barriers to growth and consideration of potential solutions.
