This assignment aims to develop a methodology that integrates the Generation and Transmission Reference Expansion Plan (PERGT) components; considering the nature of each one (transmission as a mandatory component; generation as indicative). This methodology should automate the investment evaluation and selection processes; considering the socio-environmental; socio-economic; technical; resilience; energy adaptability and other benefits of integrating non-conventional renewable energy sources; such as Offshore Wind. The results should be reflected in selecting transmission expansion scenarios that make such investments viable and prioritising them in allocating interconnection points.
