A comprehensive study on the heavy vehicles (buses; trucks) of Bangladesh with the following objectives.1.Evaluate the Current Performance of the HDV FleetAssess the operational; financial; economic; and environmental performance of the truck and bus (HDV) fleet in Bangladesh.2.Develop a HDV Fleet Efficiency RoadmapCreate a comprehensive roadmap to enhance the operational; financial; economic; and environmental performance of HDVs; specifying short-; mid-; and long-term actions.3.Design Targeted Policies; Programs; and ProjectsDevelop detailed policy; program and project designs for the critical interventions identified in the roadmap; including fleet scrappage and fuel efficiency improvement programs. This will involve crafting conceptual design; preparing policy drafts; incentives schemes and disincentives; conducting cost-benefit analyses; and evaluating the potential impacts to ensure effective implementation.4.Create a Detailed Stakeholder MappingIdentify stakeholders; outlining their roles; responsibilities; and the potential impact on the implementation of the proposed roadmap.
