In recognition of regional dynamics and transnational linkages associated with the Artisanal Small-scale Gold Mining (ASGM) sector; the Regional Knowledge Exchange and Learning Platform (the ‘Platform’) will foster knowledge exchange and learning in pursuit of best practices in support of ASGM. The aim is to establish a regional “coalition of the willing” in West Africa and the Sahel who will be ‘Ambassadors’ of best practice in the sector; share knowledge and actively build on each other’s work. The World Bank is seeking a consulting firm to conduct preliminary analytics in support of setting up the Platform structure; identifying key stakeholders; conducting a learning needs assessment and developing a stakeholder outreach/engagement plan.
