MIGA is seeking to engage a firm that will undertake a review of certain aspects of MIGA’s risk appetite framework to reflect MIGA’s evolving business profile under the Guarantee Platform (GP); at the transaction; country; and portfolio levels; as well as for products issued in combination with products by other WBG institutions. The risk appetite frameworks of IBRD/IDA and IFC should also be canvassed. Each institution’s risk appetite should be discussed in a context of how it would apply for the GP. Moreover; an approach for how the GP would determine which institution’s balance sheet is to be used for different transactions; including for various risk tranches for combined products.
