The WB is seeking consulting services to support the MEM and the National Electrification Institute (INDE) in the definition and design of initiatives that facilitate the integration of geothermal energy into the electricity generation matrix of Guatemala. This involves addressing technical aspects related to the current state of development of the geothermal resource available in the country; as well as regulatory and commercial aspects; with their implications on transaction mechanisms in the energy market.
