The objective of this assignment is to develop an energy resilience investment plan based on technical; financial; institutional; and policy recommendations on enhancing the climate resilience of power infrastructure in the New Britain Island of PNG; mainly in the Gazelle grid. This objective can be achieved by i) undertaking climate risks assessment to evaluate climate-related natural hazard risks; identifying high-priority areas in which power infrastructures are highly susceptible to those risks; identifying hazard and climate-pertinent vulnerabilities within power infrastructures; and recommending and prioritizing climate-resiliency interventions.
