The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is in discussions with a Sub-Saharan African Government (the Client) to assist in its efforts to mobilize private sector participation via Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) for the upgrade; expansion; operation and maintenance of its largest airports; through a transparent and competitive bidding process (the “Project”). To support its advisory mandate; IFC is seeking to hire a legal consultancy firm (the Consultant) to provide advice on the legal aspects of the Project. The Consultant will be expected to support IFC throughout the project preparation (e.g. due diligence); structuring; and tendering stages up until the signature of project agreements between the Client and selected private sector partners.
