The overall objective of the proposed assignment is to screen and shortlist sites for development of utility-scale solar power plants with battery storage in Rwanda. The specific tasks include: (1) survey; screening; and prioritizing of sites for solar PV development; (2) grid analysis for variable renewable energy integration; (3) sizing sites for solar PV + storage. The analysis will provide enough information at selected sites to support subsequent development of feasibility studies.
