The Trade Facilitation in West Africa (TFWA) program is supporting the West African Economic and Monetary Union Commission (UEMOA) and its member countries in measuring land border performance. Countries have selected a series of indicators to be constructed from data captured by users and focal points:*1. Crossing/crossing times at land border crossings*2. Number of documents required for customs clearance of goods *3. Percentage of paperless documents for customs formalities*4. Percentage of information on trade procedures at land border crossings published to the public.*5. Rate of user satisfaction with services (quality of services; infrastructure)*6. Number of trucks cleared by month; week; day or hour. The World Bank is recruiting a consulting firm to develop the web application that will enable users and focal points to enter the information required for the indicators; and publish periodic dashboards. It is expected that during the development; a field test will be conducted at one of the UEMOA land border; tentatively between Togo and Benin.Interested firms are invited to submit their expression of interest; stating their capability to undertake this type of assignment.
