Objective:With the overarching objective of providing affordable cooling solutions to address the heat stress in India; this study will aim towards the domestic manufacturing of best available technologies that are energy-efficient; cost-competitive; having a low climate impact. These technologies will contribute to India’s low-carbon and emission reduction goals in line with India’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). Further; this will lead to the development of robust domestic supplier ecosystem; and increased availability of skilled workforce in the cooling sector to match needs of manufacturing and servicing of high technology cooling components and devices.
