The World Bank Group (“WBG”) invites Proposals from Vendors interested in providing IT Outsourced Services for the WBG's Kenya Country Office.

 

Eligible vendors must meet the following Mandatory Criteria: 

 

1. Vendor must have successfully and continuously been engaged in providing IT Outsourced Services to commercial/ business facilities in Kenya, preferably International / diplomatic organizations similar to those required in this RFP over the last five (5) years. Vendor shall provide three client references.

 

2. Vendor must submit a complete set of audited financial statement / certified financial statement for the last 2 fiscal years. The World bank Group shall check financial information to determine whether each Vendor has an annual revenue of at least KES 30 million equivalent during each of the prior two (2) years and has been operating in a positive position in at least one of the prior two years.

 

3. Vendor must attest that it has all required licenses, permits and related paperwork to operate in the line of business offered in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations of the jurisdiction wherein it is providing services.

 

4.  Vendor must agree to at the least compensate its employees with salaries and benefits commensurate with those paid as a minimum by local government and in compliance with all local laws and regulations for the duration of the contract.

 

5.  Vendor must agree to meet all regulatory acts with respect to employee benefits and welfare including but not limited to leave, social security, medical insurance, health insurance, pension, termination allowance and the like in compliance with all local laws and regulations.

 

6. Other criteria as specified in the RFP document.

The World Bank Group (WBG) will disclose or exchange certain proprietary and confidential information, and they desire that the recipient keep such information confidential, and use it only in connection with the following purposes: To participate in an RFP process whereby, Vendor will be given access to the relevant WBG internal “Official Use Only” or “Confidential” documents.  A signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be required prior to releasing the solicitation.  Parties will receive the NDA via email and will be required to return the signed NDA prior to receiving the solicitation documentation.

The World Bank Group reserves the right to publicly disclose contract award information, including but not limited to, name of company receiving the award, brief description of services, and contract award amount, for any contract award valued over US$250,000. Offeror's proposal and contractual documents will remain confidential and therefore not subject to disclosure.
