The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) hereinafter referred to as “WBG” invites interested parties to respond to Request for Proposal for Data Backup and Recovery Solution project.
The purpose of this RFP is to select one (1) Data Backup & Recovery solution to provide data backup, recovery, ransomware protection and isolated environment to test critical applications. Solution should be capable of taking backup of various on-prem workloads, cloud workloads and M365. The Offeror shall provide a complete solution including hardware, software, extended warranty, and related maintenance and support.
To be eligible to bid, Offeror must meet the following requirements:
1. The Offeror must have at least 100 clients using their product for backup requirements; at least five of those clients must have more than 10 PB of stored backup data (post deduplication and compression), and at least 20,000 users.
2. The Offeror must have an average revenue of at least USD 150M per year over the last two (2) years for the backup solution and must be in business of providing data backup solutions for at least past five years.
3. The Offeror must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the proposed product/solution or Authorized Reseller for the OEM.
4. Other requirements as specified in the RFP documentation.
Offeror must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before receiving the RFP document from the World Bank.

The World Bank Group (WBG) will disclose or exchange certain proprietary and confidential information, and they desire that the recipient keep such information confidential, and use it only in connection with the following purposes: To participate in an RFP process whereby, Offeror will be given access to the relevant WBG internal “Official Use Only” or “Confidential” documents. A signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be required prior to releasing the solicitation. Parties will receive the NDA via email and will be required to return the signed NDA prior to receiving the solicitation documentation.
