The World Bank Group (WBG) is seeking proposals from qualified providers to provision existing and future managed services for their Global Wide Area Network (WAN). Currently, WBG’s WAN infrastructure consists of terrestrial-only Multi- Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) as the preferred connectivity solution, but also includes satellite, ISP and point to point (P2P) as connectivity solutions.
The primary focus of this RFP is for terrestrial MPLS connectivity solutions from global enterprise providers, but satellite and point to point connectivity options will be considered where direct terrestrial connectivity to a selected provider’s MPLS cloud is not available.
The WBG Global WAN is operated and maintained under Information and Technology Solutions (ITS), who will engage a Offeror (or Offerors) to implement, operate, and manage network services throughout the WBG enterprise as determined to be operationally appropriate.
