PREVENTATIVE AND REMEDIAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE FOOD AND CATERING PROGRAM

The WBG is seeking a qualified contractor to provide preventative and remedial maintenance services for its kitchen equipment in support of its Food and Conference Services Program.  

The Contractor shall:

1.    Maintain the existing equipment in prime condition throughout the expected Asset Life of the asset through Preventative Maintenance.

2.    Provide on-demand service calls on equipment that breaks down or needs service between occurrences of PM care. Maintain frequent communication with WBG regarding the status of, and proper use and cleaning of existing equipment.

3.    Make suggestions to improve the safety and efficiency of dining service equipment and the technology of using same at the WBG.

4.    Preferably, the Contractor shall have the capability to expand services to provide a complete W.A.G.E.S. program for managing energy and energy-related costs.

5.    Contractor may also be required to provide installation, warranty service, and some fabrication or refurbishing needed for new equipment to fit into existing lines, stations, or displays.

6.    The Services will cover all types of food service equipment including hot and cold electric, gas, steam, refrigeration, hydraulic, infra-red, and magnetic induction equipment.

7.    Contractor shall track each capital asset and monitor the ongoing cost of maintaining aging equipment. Contractor shall propose replacement when that option becomes more cost-effective than continued repair.
