The World Bank is seeking a qualified vendor to provide office moving and move management services to support its Headquarters operations. General Moving Services is focused on the labor, equipment and supplies needed to fulfill all move requests. Move Management Services is focused on planning, coordinating moves, and providing limited design services as needed.
In summary, the project requirements are as follows:
1. General Office Move Services and Small Moves (1-5 moves): These are “On Demand” staff, equipment and content moves to support job reassignments of staff or task teams, as well as changes in business units requirements.
2. Project Moves or Big Moves: Relocation of staff due to new construction of office space or a reorganization of a business unit. These moves are generally scheduled for after normal working hours.
3. Move Management Services: Move planning and execution of project moves with on-site contractor staff. Coordinates with architectural firms and clients on space assignments, develops the implementation plans for executing the moves, and provides oversight and quality control for trades to insure completion according to established standards.
4. Document Disposal (Shredding) and Recycling: Professional shredding services for the proper handling of WB documents with secure chain of custody from disposal to recycling of shredded material.
5. Personnel Computer (PC) Technical Support Services: Provision of certified staff to disconnect and reconnect of IT equipment and peripheral components (scanners, web cams, phones and wire management services) for staff moves.
Mandatory Criteria:
Interested firms must be able to demonstrate in their proposal that they fully meet the following mandatory criteria:
1. At least five years’ experience in fully supporting contracts as the prime contractor which are similar in size and scope to the effort defined herein which demonstrates your organization’s capacity, capabilities and experience to fully provide these services.
2. Must have a permanent office within the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area.
3. Ability to demonstrate that it has been operating in a positive position (i.e. generated an operating profit in at least one of the last three fiscal years). Offeror must have a gross annual revenue of more than $3,000,000 million for each of the last three fiscal years.
4. Firm must accept the provisions of the WBG’s mandatory terms and conditions.
