CLOSING DATE AND TIME: MARCH 1, 2022 @ 17:00 EST

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector investment arm of the World Bank Group, is a global investor and advisor committed to developing a sustainable private sector in emerging markets, thereby improving lives and reducing poverty.

IFC seeks a provider of external non-financial assurance for its Annual Report, in line with the statement of work set out below.

One integrated report

As part of its commitment to transparency and accountability as a public institution, IFC moved toward integrated reporting in its Fiscal Year 09 Annual Report.  Since then, the Annual Report has continued with this approach, combining information on our investment and advisory services, sustainability and climate, development effectiveness, and donor partnerships.  This integrated approach fulfills IFC’s commitment to report on the development effectiveness of its activities.

IFC’s development effectiveness reporting includes information regarding the focus of IFC’s Investments and Advisory Services activities, the results and development impact of those activities and the steps IFC is taking to enhance its development contribution. IFC reports on its performance as a whole and provides results for its various areas of activity, including its reporting under the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). Additionally, as a signatory to the Operating Principles for Impact Management, IFC also publicly discloses the alignment of our impact management systems with the Principles and seeks its independent verification of this alignment through the Annual Report assurance process.
