The International Finance Corporation (the IFC) invites expression of interest from firms for the receipt of a solicitation for providing Background Due Diligence Services for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in South Asia at its country office in Delhi for South Asia (including India, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK

The Contractor shall conduct background diligence services on corporates and related individuals to enable IFC to assess if an association with the concerned corporates and/ or related individuals could present any risks. These corporates should have at least one place of business (current or proposed) within the South Asia region consisting of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Each ‘assignment’ shall consist of background diligence services on a target corporate and related individual or possibly corporates, or else an individual person or persons with connections to corporate entities.

MANDATORY CRITERIA

1.1 Offeror must have expertise in providing diligence services.

1.2 Offeror should have been in business for at least five (5) years providing global background diligence services on corporates and individuals.

1.3 There may be additional mandatory criteria. They, if any, will be provided as part of the RFP package.

Firms meeting the above mandatory criteria may request a solicitation package.
