The Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR) invites statements of qualification on which to base the selection of firms for providing event management services for the 2020 Understanding Risk Forum (May 18-22, 2020) in Singapore at the Max Atria Singapore Expo Center. Contractors are expected to provide dependable and efficient event management services for ~1000 attendees from over 100 countries. The event management firm is expected to manage the overall production of the event, including coordination of catering and transport, the setup of stages and graphic elements, the coordination of booths (registration, information desk, and exhibition), set up of individual rooms, and any other items that are needed to ensure the Conference opens successfully on May 18, 2020. The firm will be required to identify, contract and manage third party suppliers to deliver the event successfully. This event expects to be fully zero waste and inclusive.
Firm must have a minimum annual revenue more than USD One Million (1,000,000) per annum and must demonstrate it has the financial capability to successfully support the entire contract. The Firm must have experience in zero waste or minimal waste events.
Firm must have successfully and continuously been engaged as an event management firm over the last five (05) years.
The firm must be based or have an official representatives office in Singapore.
The submission deadline is October 18, 2019, 18:00 Washington, DC time.
