In line with our commitment to encouraging a more sustainable supply chain, the World Bank Group is pleased to announce that it is now collaborating with a global technology provider, Achilles, to assess the sustainability performance of its vendors.
This initiative will provide the World Bank Group a deeper understanding of the sustainability risks, impacts, and opportunities associated with its supply chain, will help establish a robust, objective, and data-driven approach to evaluating vendor’s sustainability performance, and will contribute to its commitment to sustainability and responsible vendor management.
The initiative is being rolled out in a phased approach.
