The Scaling Climate Action by Lowering Emissions (SCALE) 2024 Annual Report highlights the fund's progress and vision as the World Bank’s next-generation platform for results-based climate finance. In its first year of operations, SCALE has allocated grants to over 20 country and regional programs, supporting Natural Climate Solutions to protect forests, restore landscapes, and advance sustainable land use, as well as Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions to drive energy transitions and renewable energy scale-up. These efforts lay the groundwork for generating high-integrity carbon credits, expanding access to international carbon markets, and unlocking transformative climate finance. Backed by global partners, SCALE is driving systemic change for a low-carbon future.
