JANUARY 18, 2013, VIENTIANE--- Thirty young Lao entrepreneurs have made it to the final round of the 2012/2013 STEPS Young Entrepreneur Market Place Competition.The contest, organized by the World Bank Vientiane Office, AusAID, and the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Laos, will give them the chance to turn their business dreams into reality.
In the previous leg of the competition, 97 short-listed candidates received a 10-day certified training course where they developed their business plans. The top 30 finalists were invited to showcase their business ideas at a market place exhibition. This last stage of the competition will take place inFebruary 2013 at the National Culture Hall in the capital city of Vientiane.
