Response to Telegrafi by Jan-Peter Olters, World Bank Country Manager for Kosovo, on the selection process for the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo

As defined by law, the recruitment process for the position of Governor has been well-defined, is open and transparent, with a clear profile being spelt out in the vacancy note. The World Bank—interested in seeing the integrity of the recruitment process being protected—believes that this will allow for the appointment of a Governor with the highest degree of personal integrity, professional experiences, and the most relevant qualifications and skills. It is thus important that, by the end of the process, all interested parties can reconstruct and understand the reasoning behind the ranking of the seven candidates being considered for this position.

Siç është definuar në ligj, procesi rekrutues për pozitën e Guvernatorit ka qenë i definuar mirë, i hapur dhe transparent, ashtu që në konkurs përshkruhet një profil i qartë. Banka Botërore – që është e interesuar të shohë integritetin e procesit rekrutues të mbrojtur – beson se kjo do të mundësojë emërimin e një Guvernatori me shkallën më të lartë të integritetit personal, të përvojës profesionale, dhe me kualifikimet dhe aftësitë më relevante. Prandaj është e rëndësishme që, në fund të procesit, të gjitha palët e interesuara të mund të rikonstruktojnë dhe të kuptojnë arsyetimin pas radhitjes së shtatë kandidatëve që po konsiderohen për këtë pozitë.
