Providing people with access to decent and affordable housing is one of the targets under the Sustainable Development Goal 11, which focuses on making cities sustainable.
Addressing this challenge requires large-scale investment in housing production. Governments alone cannot meet this burden, so private sector funds need to be channeled into housing investment.
