"Increasing Women's Access to Economic Opportunities" project has been launched by the Ministry of Family and Social Affairs (General Directorate on the Status of Women-KSGM) and the World Bank with funding provided by the Swedish International Development and Cooperation Agency (SIDA) to ensure women's access to economic opportunities in Turkey and increasing their access to more and better employment opportunities. The selection process of the research projects to be supported to strengthen the evidence base needed for designing policies by compiling data and information was completed.

The support budget was increased by 50% as there were 14 satisfactory research proposals. In this respect, the overall budget for this activity is expected to be $ 450,000. Research proposals were divided into three groups in accordance with their overall duration.
Successfully completed researches will be shared with the public starting from September 2015.
