This project “Addressing Climate-Nutrient-Water Nexus Challenges for Mango Value Chain in Uttar Pradesh” is a sustainable; climate-resilient agriculture project planned as part of the UP Accelerator that includes The Coca-Cola Foundation (TCCF) as one of the key funding and implementation partners; under the leadership of Government of UP (GoUP) supported by the 2030WRG.  Low-carbon advisory support that will further efforts to address water security issues including source water protection; improved use efficiencies through the promotion of micro irrigation; and augmenting soil carbon through agronomic and mechanization interventions to bring economic benefits to the mango value chain in UP is planned. The partnership is expected to achieve significant improvement in productivity and incomes of mango farmers by introducing efficient irrigation; soil health management practices and on-demand mechanization’ by focusing on increasing agricultural water productivity; adoption of farm mechanization and Soil Organic Carbon (SOC).
