The International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) has been mandated by Unitel S.A. (“Unitel”) to act as lead transaction advisor in its partial re-privatization through the sale of the shares held by one or more of Unitel’s shareholders on the Angola Securities and Debt Stock Exchange (“BODIVA”) and/or by any other suitable mechanism in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Angola (the “Project”). IFC seeks to hire a strategic consultancy firm to support IFC with the technical; commercial; and strategic aspects related to the sell-side due diligence and transaction implementation; including (i) strategic review of the Angolan telecoms market (ii) technical and commercial due diligence of Unitel’s; strategic positioning and development plans; (iii) elaboration of its business plan; (iv) assistance with transaction structuring.
