On September 14, 2021, Corporate Procurement sent a request to a selected group of World Bank Group (WBG) vendors with an active contract to report their diverse supplier spend data for Fiscal Year 2021.
Vendors’ support of our global supplier diversity efforts help the WBG with its commitment to promote, increase, and improve the business participation of diverse suppliers such as minority, women-, and disabled-owned business enterprises (MWDBEs) in our procurement process.
As part of this process, we ask that vendors share their company’s supplier diversity goals and begin reporting annual spend with diverse suppliers. If a supplier diversity program has not yet been established, we encourage vendors to establish one in the first year of their contract with the WBG.
